Jason Byrne

Jason Byrne is a graduate of Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut, having earned a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training and sports medicine. While attending Quinnipiac, he worked with baseball, women’s basketball and soccer as part of his clinical experience. Also, he worked with the football programs at Yale University and the University of Tennessee.

Byrne went on to take a position at John Hopkins University, primarily working with the football, wrestling, tennis and women’s basketball teams. During this time, he also earned a Master of Science degree from Towson University in Maryland.

In 2012, Byrne became an athletic trainer and a performance coach for Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. While at Brandeis, he also served as a clinical preceptor and instructor for undergraduate and graduate sports medicine students attending Brandeis from Lasell University.

Over the years, Byrne has worked with the Chesapeake Bayhawks and Boston Cannons Major League Lacrosse professional men’s teams. From 2016 to 2020, he served as the head athletic trainer for the Boston Cannons.
 
At Boston Sports Performance Center, he is excited to partner with a wide variety of clients and athletes to achieve their goals no matter if its rehabilitation following a surgery or concussion or purely wanting to improve performance.
